Periphery, who are about to embark on the second leg of their North American tour dates in support of the Juggernaut albums, premiere “The Bad Thing” video today!  

Royal Thunder, the band who it is said have created “the contemporary hard-rock equivalent of Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors,” are sharing a new series of videos discussing the songs on Crooked Doors in detail.  

Canadian hardcore punk metallers, CANCER BATS, who are currently on tour in Europe, are ecstatic to announce their inclusion on a string of North American dates with Danzig and Pennywise this July! The tour will commence July 11th in Pomona, California and run through fourteen cities, coming to a close on July 31st in Las Vegas, Nevada.  

Long-running, Baltimore-based heavy desert rock/doom unit, SIXTY WATT SHAMAN, are pleased to announce their official union with California rock powerhouse, Ripple Music, for the release of their forthcoming new full-length. Titled Tabula Rasa and slated for release this Winter, the record will be tracked by J. Robbins of Jawbox at Magpie Cage Studio in Baltimore, Maryland next month.  

Anthemic multi-platinum rockers HINDER have unveiled their music video for ‘Hit The Ground’ with Yahoo! Music – the first single from the band’s upcoming fifth studio album, When the Smoke Clears, out May 12 via The End Records/ADA. The video for the track, which Billboard proclaims “…falls right into the band’s arena rock wheelhouse,” is also a debut for the band’s new frontman Marshal Dutton. The video was filmed at Chevy Bricktown Events Center in the band’s hometown of Oklahoma City, and features the guys doing what they do best – living and breathing life on the road.  

The concept of the open-air heavy metal music and camping fest, so popular in Europe, seems to be a rarity in America. The organizers of SHADOW WOODS METAL FEST hope to change that with their inaugural fest happening Sept 25th – 27th, 2015 in Fannettsburg, Pennsylvania in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains.  

World-renowned power trio HIGH ON FIRE will release its highly-anticipated new album, Luminiferous, on June 23 via eOne Music. Recorded at Salem, Massachusetts’ GodCity Studios with producer Kurt Ballou, the record is the follow-up to the group’s 2012 release, De Vermis Mysteriis.
