Fresh off announcing their new label home, FULL DEVIL JACKET has wasted no time. The band will release VALLEY OF BONES on March 31, 2015 via eOne Music, their first full length in over a decade. Produced by Justin Rimer (12 Stones), it’s a victorious and impossible to ignore sophomore slab, simultaneously resurrecting and updating the band’s hard rock sound. Longtime fans will recognize plenty of signature elements, but this is the Full Devil Jacket of old on steroids.
David T. Chastain has gained a reputation over the last 25 years as a powerful, progressive guitarist whose music has been centered around his melodic and technically fluent fret board mastery. Besides David’s virtuoso style the other major attribute to CHASTAIN’s instantly distinct sound is vocalist Leather Leone’s superior and ultimately commanding presence. Divebomb Records is excited to announce it has teamed up once again with CHASTAIN to reissue two more critically acclaimed albums – The 7th Of Never (1987) & The Voice Of The Cult (1988) from their catalog.
After the victorious independent release of their The Many Sides Of Truth LP in 2014, longtime NYC-area epic death/doom act, GREY SKIES FALLEN, now declares several new releases in 2015, beginning with the official unearthing of two of the band’s prior digital-only releases on physical format for the first time.
Again, I can’t forgo a split! It’s becoming an addiction… But this time I have to shout the heavens down with probably one of the smoothest, bluesiest, most dulcetly heavy splits/albums you could possibly want for this year! The split of Le’ Betre and King Buffalo is nigh upon us, and its all thanks to the maniac genius of STB Records. This is the blues/rock/metal album you have been craving, and after the jump are some words I may have glued together out of a dictionary or Time magazine.
