2015 sees Portland’s RABBITS trio celebrating ten years of antagonizing their surroundings with their diseased auditory droppings, with a new pile of live shows locked up and plans of an extremely limited 8-Track retrospective release.

Upon return from their European tour in their stint of shows supporting their lauded Black Age Blues LP, GOATSNAKE is gearing up for the final gig of the run with a headlining slot at Crucial Fest V this weekend. Running from Thursday, June 18th through Saturday the 20th in Salt Lake City, Utah, GOATSNAKE will headline the final evening of Crucial Fest. This performance will be the final show from the band for the immediate future, although additional live actions will be announced for later in the year.  

U.S. Black Metallers NIHILISTINEN BARBAARISUUS have released a lyric video for the song “Let Them Perish” from new album The Child Must Die (Infernal Kommando Records).  

The 11th Annual SWITCHFOOT Bro-Am surf contest and concert, presented by iHeart Media San Diego and Hurley, will take place at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA on Saturday, July 11. SWITCHFOOT, NEEDTOBREATHE, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors and Colony House will perform at the concert, which will run from 12 PM – 5 PM. This year, the surf contest/concert will be streamed here, allowing viewers around the world to tune in and catch the Bro-Am action live. Fans can also see SWITCHFOOT live this summer on NEEDTOBREATHE’s Tour De Compadres, launching July 9 and featuring special guests Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors and Colony House.  

The first full single from, Endsville — the split 2xLP release from GODHUNTER and DESTROYER OF LIGHT — has been released through a lyric video for DESTROYER OF LIGHT’s “Electric Shadows“ now playing online!  

Living Colour, the multi-platinum rock band whose music Rolling Stone described as “an intoxicating brew of hard, grinding rock with splashes of funk, jazz, reggae and pop,” join Aerosmith for the band’s Blue Army tour.  The dates kick off on Saturday, June 13 at the Gila River Arena in Phoenix.  

Swedish melodic Doom/Death metallers, OCTOBER TIDE, have inked a record deal with Agonia Records. The band’s as-yet-untitled new album, successor to “Tunnel Of No Light” (2013), is currently at the pre-production stage and is expected to be released in early 2016.  

This Wednesday, the sludge slingers in SONS OF TONATIUH will quake the stages of eleven venues on their latest jaunt of live debauchery. Scheduled to embark this Wednesday on their home turf of Atlanta at 529, the band will make their way North and back again, playing several locales they’ve yet to punish, with the tour coming to a close on June 27th in Raleigh. Bring ear plugs.  

As AEROSMITH gears up for their 2015 summer tour, a date has been announced for the release of Aerosmith Rocks Donington 2014.
