Cacophonous Records is pleased to announce that CRADLE OF FILTH’s ‘DUSK… AND HER EMBRACE – THE ORIGIANL SIN’ will finally be released as a gatefold double LP on 11th November. This follows the success of the CD and digital releases in July, which landed at #17 in the UK Rock Album Chart.  

Italy’s very own KRAMPUS is poised to release their latest masterpiece titled Counter//Current, and the band has just shared the albums cover artwork done by photographer Matteo Guariso.  

From fan-favorite writer Joe Harris (SNOWFALL, The X-Files) and mega-talented newcomer artist Megan Hutchison comes ROCKSTARS, an all-new ongoing series from Image Comics this December.  

Actor Norman Reedus, better known as Daryl Dixon on “The Walking Dead,” joined Anthrax on stage last night at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, jamming on guitar during the band’s classic “Indians.” Anthrax’s Frank Bello and Scott Ian are both huge fans of the show – in 2015, Ian appeared in an episode playing one of the zombies, and unfortunately met a horrible demise with a metal pole through his head.  

The epic concept album Winter’s Gate, comprised of one 40 minute song by the Finnish melodeath outfit INSOMNIUM, is out now on Century Media Records.  

Motograter have signed to EMP LABEL GROUP, who will release Desolation, the bands highly-anticipated sophomore album, produced by Ahrue Luster (Ill Nino/Ex-Machine Head) and mixed by Joshua Wickman (Within the Ruins, KING 810). The album was engineered by Luster, Wickman, and Jon Berrier, and recorded at Illustrious Productions, Dreadcore Productions, and BlackPlate Productions.  

We’re still arguing about this, aren’t we? Death metal Opeth against prog rock Opeth. Fighting aside, Opeth are rooted in prog and that’s always been extremely evident. Getting older and playing death metal can be difficult, and playing it day after day on tour? That’s understandable. Plus, switching to prog rock prolongs the career of the band, with many of the bands from the 70’s still performing today. Opeth made a conscious decision on Heritage to make the genre switch, but Sorceress seems to be where they have it down.  

Maniacal Publishing will release graphic novel, Realm Of The Damned in North America on October 19. The 144-page saga comes from the minds of 2000 AD’s creative team writer Alec Worley and illustrator Simon “Pye” Parr.  

Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe will be filling in for EYEHATEGOD vocalist Mike IX Williams on their upcoming Fall tour with Discharge and Toxic Holocaust. Elaborates Williams of the decision, “Once again, rather than cancel an amazing tour, we have chosen for EYEHATEGOD to continue on and give one-thousand-percent.  

Hailing from the town of St. Joseph, MO — the garage punk outfit RADKEY have announced that they’ve signed with Another Century Records. The band, comprised of brothers Dee (guitar, vocals), Isaiah (bass), and Solomon Radke (drums), emerged on the scene in 2011 and have methodically sent shock waves throughout the rock and punk scene with their brand of loud, fast-paced riffage, booming vocal delivery, and jocular ethos.

It was recently announced that the pirates from ALESTORM has re-signed with Napalm Records, and when they signed, they signed in rum, rather than blood or the usual ink!
