Brooklyn, New York record store Rough Trade NYC will host an ENSLAVED LP signing session this Sunday, December 11th following the previous evening’s massive ENSLAVED twenty-fifth anniversary concert at Gramercy Theatre. This all-ages Rough Trade event will open at 1:00pm; entry is automatic with the LP purchase of ENSLAVED‘s recently released The Sleeping Gods – Thorn reissue.  

KORN–one of the most influential rock bands of modern times-have been nominated for a Grammy Award in the “Best Metal Performance” category for “Rotting In Vain.” News of the nomination this week coincides with line-up announcements for major U.S. rock fests Carolina Rebellion and Rock On The Range where KORN will helm headlining slots on each this coming May.  

Third String Festivals recently announced the 10th Anniversary celebration of So What?! Music Festival taking place March 24th-26th. To celebrate this occasion in the biggest way possible, they will be taking over multiple venues in Deep Ellum on Friday, March 24th to kick off the weekend and then bring some of the best names in the scene to AirHogs Stadium (formerly known as QuikTrip Park) on Saturday and Sunday (March 25th and 26th).

AMARANTHE are finally bringing MAXIMALISM to North America. The band has just announced a U.S. headline tour for 2017, with support from Failure Anthem, Citizen Zero, Cypher 16, and Smash Into Pieces. The tour is the band’s first in support of its latest glorious opus, MAXIMALISM, which came out in October via Spinefarm Records and featured the unforgettable, fist-pumping anthem “That Song.” Listen to it HERE.

Multi-faceted musician/performer JASON CHARLES MILLER is proud to announce that he has signed with Century Media Records. A veteran artist with more than two decades of work to his credit, Miller is commonly known in the music world as the frontman and founding member of the industrial rock outfit Godhead, but has established himself in recent years as a solo artist and sought-after songwriter and producer. Speaking on the subject of his signing with Century Media, Miller expressed his enthusiam, stating:  

Norwegian black metal icons MAYHEM are celebrating the release of their 1994 landmark De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas full-length with tours across the globe. This coming January, the band will march their way across North America performing the record in its monumental entirety.  

Seattle based heavy metal icons QUEENSRYCHE are nearing the end of their ‘Condition Human’ world tour, which has now brought them back to North America on Fall a headlining run. Continuing to build on the momentum of their latest studio album, the band has released a visceral new music video for their song “Hellfire”, which spotlights the Malaysian passenger flight crisis in 2014.  

Legendary Musicians and Music Industry Executives will join together to be inducted into the Annual Hall of Heavy Metal History Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Anaheim Expo Center, Anaheim CA. Television and Radio Icon Eddie Trunk will host the event.  

The list of guest musicians involved in the creation of the album includes: guitarist Sin Quirin (Ministry), Ricktor (The Electric Hellfire Club), Pier Marzano (Koza Noztra), drummer Andrea Mazzucca, vocalists Victor Love (Dope Stars Inc., Victor Love), Cain Cressall (The Amenta) and Nicola Favaretto N-ikonoclast.
