The annual International Day of Slayer is just around the corner – June 6, 2018 – and this year, the day’s celebration will begin with the release of Slayer’s Repentless special collectors edition vinyl box set.  

Hoobastank, the multi-platinum, 3X GRAMMY-nominated group have announced the release of their sixth studio album titled PUSH PULL on Friday, May 25. For the new album, the band partnered with producer Matt Wallace (Faith No More, Deftones, Maroon 5, Andy Grammer) in Los Angeles marking their first release on noted rock independent label Napalm Records. Pre-orders for PUSH PULL will be available starting April 4 and will include a download of “More Beautiful,” the first track released off the album.  

The Melvins, who recently announced the April 20 release of Pinkus Abortion Technician (Ipecac Recordings), have debuted the Mackie Osborne directed video for “Embrace The Rub”  

Legendary LA Hard Rockers ODIN have signed with EMP LABEL GROUP who will reissue much of their classic catalog including upcoming reissues of DON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER and FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE. The limited edition (300 Pcs) vinyl reissue of DON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER, in stores 4/20 with a limited quantity available for pre-order now from empmerch.com, includes remastered versions of the original 1985 recording, in an astonishingly faithful recreation of the original LP, reworked by artist Melody Myers.  

Actor Billy Blair has officially been added to the cast of Rob Zombie’s upcoming horror flick 3 FROM HELL. Billy made his way to Los Angeles earlier this week, where shooting of the film is well underway. 3 FROM HELL is a follow-up to his The Devil’s Rejects (2005), a sequel to House of 1,000 Corpses (2003) that followed the murderous, backwoods Firefly family as they hit the road in an attempt to escape a vengeful police force.  

Tremonti, the band comprised of Mark Tremonti on vocals/guitars, Eric Friedman on guitars, and Garrett Whitlock on drums, will be releasing their fourth full-length album, A Dying Machine, worldwide via Napalm Records on June 8th. Longtime producer, Michael “Elvis” Baskette, produced the album.

The group-SLASH (Guitar), MYLES KENNEDY (Vocals), BRENT FITZ (Drums), TODD KERNS (Bass & Vocals) and FRANK SIDORIS (Guitar & Vocals)–has entered the studio with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Alter Bridge, Iggy Pop, Incubus). Expect the group to announce a full North American tour for the fall.  

Southern California death metal veterans GRAVEHILL have posted the official music video for “Iron & Sulphur.” The song comes off the band’s newest release, The Unchaste, the Profane & the Wicked, out now on Dark Descent Records.  

YES, one of the biggest bands in prog rock history and true pioneers of the genre, today (March 26) revealed the dates and details for this summer’s 50th Anniversary North American tour titled #YES50: Celebrating 50 Years of YES. Tickets for the 30-plus date outing, which kicks off June 5 and 6 with a two-night engagement at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, IL, will go on sale to the public beginning this Friday, March 30 or Saturday, March 31, with select shows going on sale in early April. A handful of additional dates will be announced soon.

In 2016, the classic original line-up of Dokken featuring: Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Wild Mick Brown reunited to play the world famous Loud Park Festival in Japan and one exclusive U.S. show in Sioux Falls, SD at Badlands. Fortunately for fans not in attendance at either show, cameras were there to capture the performances and now Frontiers Music Srl is set to issue “Return To The East Live (2016)” on April 20th!
