  Shot in February 1996, the original House of the Damned marked the directorial debut of Sean Weathers. Inspired by THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD and EVIL DEAD movies as well as THE TWILIGHT ZONE television series, Weathers wanted this film to be something that combined all of the things he enjoyed watching as a kid, shot with an all black cast, which is a first for a film of this genre.

So just finished watching Captain America: The First Avenger. Went to a midnight showing here in NYC. This won’t be a typical review, as I want you all that will be going to see the movie this weekend to enjoy. Let me just say first off I am an Avenger’s purist. Been reading, collecting and talking Avengers for over 30 years. With that said I think Marvel is doing a great job with these movie renditions of said comic book characters.

Skywriter Media and Entertainment Group, and Roddenberry Entertainment are joining forces to develop an animated kids’ comedy series, Gene’s Journal®, based on the hilarious web comic created by Trevor Roth and illustrated by cartoonist David Reddick; it was announced by Skywriter Media and Entertainment Group CEO Kevin Gillis.
