So just finished watching Captain America: The First Avenger. Went to a midnight showing here in NYC. This won’t be a typical review, as I want you all that will be going to see the movie this weekend to enjoy. Let me just say first off I am an Avenger’s purist. Been reading, collecting and talking Avengers for over 30 years. With that said I think Marvel is doing a great job with these movie renditions of said comic book characters.

IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX) (TSX:IMX) and Paramount Pictures announced today that Transformers: Dark of the Moon 3D, the third film in the blockbuster Transformers franchise, posted a record opening in IMAX(R) theatres, generating $23.1 million globally since launch.  

Infamous director Uwe Boll’s (Postal, Alone in the Dark) latest cult-classic is the third in the notorious Bloodrayne film series, based on the popular video game character. The film stars Natassia Malthe (Elektra, DOA: Dead or Alive), Clint Howard (Frost/Nixon), Michael Paré (The Lincoln Lawyer) and Brendan Fletcher (Freddy vs. Jason).

So, unless you were living under a rock, we all know that NBC didn’t pick up the pilot for Wonder Woman. Under the helm of famed scribe/producer David R. Kelly, Wonder Woman was going to be one of those love/hate shows if it made it to a network.
