In a whizzing light of energy, the gang is transported to a distant but somewhat familiar landscape. Doctor Who, returning as the actor from series 5, Matt Smith, engages in an all new adventure that takes the average science fiction horrors to a whole new level.

This series of Doctor Who is a break away from the old tradition of the show from the continuance of Matt Smith as the star once again, but the series also takes a turn in terms of plot. From the get-go there is an immense plot twist that keeps the crew on their toes. The series gives viewers a taste of several science fiction aspects that have been done before, but this time with a different twist. The time warping aspect could get old in any other show, but Doctor Who does it all right and keeps the edge going.

Series 6 is not over yet, with the next episode airing on August 27th, and is sure to bring even more mind boggling and suspenseful moments. Where the show has taken off thus far exhibits a promising and climactic end, especially with the midseries finale being to dramatic and edgy. All we can do is wait and see how the series marks its end and wraps things up. Will time conquer Doctor Who? Will the secret come back to haunt them?
