Legendary Comics announced today a new graphic novel, THE WITCHES OF SILVERLAKE, from singer-songwriter and actor Simon Curtis, with art by Stephanie Son, set for release in early 2021. Sam Ryser’s influence on the global DIY punk scene has been enormous, through his musical output as well as elaborate designs for his and other bands’ artwork. After years of designing flyers, record covers, t-shirts, and tour posters, he opened up the art and oddities shop DRIPPER WORLD in a converted shipping container in Bushwick. This space gave him a headquarters for not only distributing this art but also acting as a sort of showcase for his own projects and artwork, alongside those of his contemporaries and influences.
A new fully authorized visual history book, Ministry: Prescripture, by author Aaron Tanner has been announced today via Rolling Stone. Published by Melodic Virtue, the book is in a limited-edition run of 2,000 copies and contains over 200 pages of rare and unseen photos, artwork and other ephemera that spans Ministry’s entire career.
