Musician, actor, and celebrated horror icon Courtney Gains has released the official music video for his newest single, “Been Forgotten.”Set to appear on his forthcoming new album, Liberation Day, the video for “Been Forgotten” tells the tale of lost love between a human man and his alien lover.
“Been Forgotten” has been the subject of national acclaim after appearing on the Top 40 Radio Charts. The song is currently sitting at the #70 spot, enjoying a consistent surge since debuting at #103.
Another single off Liberation Day, “Wander and Dream” is sitting at #52 on the SMR (Secondary Market Radio) charts.
Liberation Day is scheduled for release this August on Curtain Call Records.The album will also feature “Fear the Boogie,” initially released last fall as part of the soundtrack for Gains’ upcoming film “The Barn III.”
A celebrated actor with over 80 film credits to his name, Gains is steadily becoming a rising star on the indie music scene with an authentic style of songwriting that infuses raw blues/folk with a classic rock edge.

“The Barn III, a retro slasher film directed by Justin M. Seaman and co-starring Kelli Maroney (Fast Times at Ridgemont High) will premiere May 23 in Pittsburgh, PA. The movie will also be featured at Spain’s Sitges Film Fest in October and the London-based Frightfest in September.
Live appearances are also on the horizon, with Gains set for September dates opening for Lita Ford, followed by an appearance on the Boo’s Cruise in October.
