Legendary comic book creator John Romita Jr. will be signing Superman Year One #1 for fans at Midtown Comics Downtown on Thursday, June 20th from 6-8pm. Additionally, he will be signing a limited number of this title for Midtown Comics stock, which will be available for purchase online and in-store. $2.00 from each signed copy of Superman Year One #1 will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Midtown Comics is not a stranger to selling creator signed books, but this is an innovative way to combine John Romita Jr.’s loves; comic books and charity.
JRJR, as he’s known in the industry, has worked on some of the most iconic titles including The Amazing Spider-Man, Kick-Ass, All Star Batman and Daredevil: The Man Without Fear. The signed books are limited, and first come first serve, so keep an eye out on Midtown Comics store shelves for the arrival of these amazing books that can be purchased for a good cause.
