While we’re still waiting on Vimic to release music, Joey Jordison’s extreme metal project, Sinsaenum, is still going ahead at full steam. Featuring Jordison, Dragonforce bassist Frederic Leclercq, Mayhem vocalist Attila Csihar, as well as other prominent members from various metal bands.
Sinsaenum released two EP’s last year, which lead up to the release of Echoes of the Tortured. The album made us of instrumental interludes and extensive tracks, but overall was a very interesting endeavor, one of which I thought Jordison should explore upon departing Slipknot. Sinsaenum’s full line-up is as follows:
Sean Z (Dååth, ex-Chimaira): vocals
Attila Csihar (Mayhem): vocals
Frédéric Leclercq (Dragonforce): guitar, bass, synth, vocals
Stephane Buriez (Loudblast): guitar
Heimoth (Seth): bass
Joey Jordison (VIMIC/ex-Slipknot): drums
You can stream “Ashes” below. Sinsaenum will release the full EP on November 10th.
