Everyone’s favorite cops are back (by popular demand) with the long anticipated follow up to the cult comedy classic: Super Troopers 2. When the United States and Canada get into a dispute about the location of the actual border, the Super Troopers–Mac, Thorny, Foster, Rabbit and Farva–are called in to set up a new Highway Patrol station in the contested area, reverting to their own brand of unconventional police work. The film’s teaser arrives today (August 28) set to “My Name Is Thunder” by THE BLOODY BEETROOTS + JET.

THE BLOODY BEETROOTS and JET recently launched “My Name Is Thunder” as a double-single–The Bloody Beetroots + JET // JET + The Bloody Beetroots–that will appear on the upcoming BLOODY BEETROOTS album due out on Last Gang Records later this year.  The track, which has received support from a variety of media outlets including Pitchfork, Entertainment Weekly, NME, Loudwire and more, represents the various genres that define THE BLOODY BEETROOTS with the first version driven by heavy synths and electronic beats while the other is led by JET’s gritty guitar-driven rock and roll.
