Evan Conway Hard Music, News

NoisemNoisem revealed yesterday that after a long period of silence, the band is moving forward without three-fifths of their previous line-up. The group is known for, at a very young age, putting out relentless and pummeling death metal with grindcore and thrash metal influences scattered about, of which they’ve been critically acclaimed for.

Noisem made the following message on their Facebook page:

After a fairly long hiatus, we’d like to fill everyone in on whats been going on. Due to quite a few points of contention we regret to announce the departure of Billy, Tyler and Yago from Noisem. In lieu of that, the original vocalist of Necropsy, Ben Anft (of Castle Freak) will be taking over both bass and vocal duties. We would like to announce our new album Cease To Exist, has been recorded and we will be taking the next steps to get it out to
all you crazy schmucks. It’s been a rough year or so for us, we are incredibly proud with how our new material has come out and we are beyond excited to get it out to all of you. Here is a short video of our set at Sidebar this past Sunday. Stayed tuned. Nothing but love and appreciation to all of our dedicated fans.

For those unknowing, Necropsy was the name Noisem went by before changing it in 2013 to avoid confusion with the other bands of the same name. The band also posted a video (Below) of their performance this past Saturday. Here’s to hoping there’s more word on the forthcoming album sooner than later.
