While Marvel has been doing a solid job at supplying Star Wars fans with comic books to read, a void has been left in the prequel era of the saga, in which the grand majority of the series’ have been focusing on the original and sequel trilogy. Aside from Obi-Wan & Anakin and the currently-running Darth Maul series, the newly announced Mace Windu series is the third and most recent foray into the prequel trilogy’s timeline.
Hardcore/metalcore veterans Integrity are still at it and going as strong as ever. Much to the appeasement of everyone, the band announced today that their new album, Howling, For The Nightmare Shall Consume will be releasing this year. Due out on Relapse Records, Howling will be the band’s first studio album since 2013’s Suicide Black Snake.
Shining is no stranger to controversy, seeing as the band has been thriving off of both good and bad press for their entire career. Front man Niklas Kvarforth has seemingly made it his entire career to be the most controversial figure in the depths of extreme metal, with the band’s first US run being surrounded by controversy because of his actions on stage. Their current US tour is no different.
