Sikth have been long credited by bands like Periphery and Monuments as being an influnece on their sound. As a whole, the djent scene has gone on to constantly cite the band as an influence, with even Periphery taking them on tour in the US just this past summer. As it stands, the band had broken up for a few years, but has since returned and are now getting ready to release their first full album since 2006.

The band have revealed “Vivid,” the first song streaming from the new album, The Future In Whose Eyes? The album is scheduled to be released on June 2nd, so there’s now officially less than a month till it drops.
