It’s no secret that we enjoy Marvel’s Netflix series. While their films are in their own right great, the Netflix series (For me, at least) captures what I love most about the concept of superheroes. Since the initial announcement of the Marvel-Netflix deal, every season released has been building up to The Defenders, in which the Netflix heroes team up and fight a threat bigger than any of them individually. Finally, it seems we’re getting close.

Filming is done, post-production is underway, and a trailer has finally surfaced after some teases from the individual Facebook pages. The full trailer showcases Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones interacting with one another, exploring their dynamics, and teasing the looming threat that is Sigourney Weaver’s character. Hand Ninjas are teased, and glimpsed ever so slightly is the return of another few character from a past Netflix series, who shall remain nameless for spoilers sake.
