FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and PAPA ROACH have dominated the airwaves throughout their careers. They have come together to co-headline Canadian arenas coast to coast for the first time this fall, and are thrilled to announce a newly added show in Quebec City at the Videotron Centre Arena on Monday, September 26th.
It’s hard to believe that three years ago Darkthrone released The Underground Resistance, the band’s throwback to old 80’s speed metal. While Darkthrone originated as a death metal-turned-black metal band in the early 90’s, the band ultimately abandoned that direction in favor of more retro-metal and crust punk influences, starting with 2006’s The Cult Is Alive. While further releases continued to move away from their black metal fame, the band continues to maintain a cult-like (no pun intended) following and all without barely performing live.
Despite the fact that Spider-Man has been Marvel’s best and most prolific superhero gaming character, it’s actually been a few years since we’ve seen a major release. Marvel has actually been noticeably inactive on the console gaming front even as its film empire has risen to new heights in the aftermath of 2012’s Avengers.
The Devil Wears Prada will hit the road this fall, co-headlining “The Rise Up Tour” with Memphis May Fire. Silverstein will Special Guest* and Like Moths to Flames will open all dates. The tour kicks off in Denver on October 11 and will take the bands cross-country, wrapping up in Berkeley, CA on November 4. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 8. As the former Scorpions’ drummer, Herman Rarebell was instrumental in recording classics such as Lovedrive, Blackout and Crazy World between 1977 and 1996, and looks back at a successful stint as the manager of his own recording company Monaco Records. At the moment he is a member of guitar legend Michael Schenker’s current group Temple Of Rock

New Orleans’ road warriors GOATWHORE will return to the US tour circuit this Fall on a short run of live abrasions prior to and following their Ozzfest appearance in San Bernardino, California on September 24th. The trek will commence on September 16th and rupture fifteen stages through October 1st. Support will be provided by The Blood Royale on select dates. GOATWHORE’s latest US journey will follow a two-week stretch of European onstage debauchery set to kick off next month.
