The Big Kahuna Hard Music, News

One Day. Two Cities. Two Shows. Three band members. This is how SIXX:A.M. marks the end of their US Spring tour tale. On May 29, 2016, band members, Nikki Sixx, Dj Ashba and James Michael, gave 15k+ fans an explosive performance at River City Rock Fest in San Antonio, TX, before loading their gear back up into a charter jet to make it to the next show just in time to perform for another 20k+ fans at Dallas’ KEGL BFD, later that day! Go behind the scenes with the band on this journey HERE!

Playing multiple sets for their fans, in a single day, has become habit for SIXX:A.M. Embarking on 11 headlining dates and 10 festival dates, across the U.S., in support of their 4/29 album release, Prayers For The Damned, the band gave their fans more than just the scheduled tour date performance. In nearly half of their headlining markets, SIXX:A.M. initiated a surprise call-to-action for fans to gather somewhere near the venue for an intimate impromptu acoustic set, using the hashtag, #sixxamhitandrun across their social media platforms for location details.

SIXX:A.M. continues to redefine the phrase, “hardest working rock band.” Their hustle and dedication to super-serve their fans, goes unrivaled by their contemporaries. Despite each member having already experienced much career success with their previous projects and Sixx:A.M. nearing their 10th year band anniversary, their passion still matches the fire and hunger of a brand new band.

It comes as no-surprise this trio closed out the U.S. leg of their tour on May 29th, playing to as many fans as they possibly could in any given 24-hour period. As the band currently continues playing all major European festival overseas and headlining select dates in Germany and Holland, look out for them to continue to give fans high energy performances and surprise sets! You can catch SIXX:A.M. back in the U.S. this fall, on tour with Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown (full tour dates below).

SIXX:A.M’s Prayers For The Damned debuted at #1 on the US Independent Albums Chart, #2 on the US Rock Albums Chart, #19 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, and in the Top 5 Album Chart around the globe.
