26-year-old French electro-metal artist and producer, THE ALGORITHM has teamed up with Metal Underground to premiere the music video for his brand-new track, “Pointers.” Directed by Richard Oakes of UK’s Dark Fable Media, the video provides a direct look at THE ALGORITHM’s intense live experience, and provides a perfect visual to further expand on the term “heavy computer music” – a phrase that has been largely used to describe the project.

Consisting of musical mastermind Remi Gallego, THE ALGORITHM delivers an impressively cohesive genre mash of metal, rock, edm, synthwave, and sheer lunacy. Commenting on “Pointers” Gallego says, “I’m very excited to finally unveil more of my new album today! Pointers is a track that took me a long time to write and finalize, and yet it remains is one of my favorite work so far. THE ALGORITHM will be releasing his new album ‘Brute Force,’ on April 1, 2016 via FiXT. The single, “Floating Point” which Metal Hammer (UK) called a, “destructive medley of electro, metal and dubstep,” can be heard here. In support of the release THE ALGORITHM will also be embarking on a 16-date headlining Canadian run this May, along with Modern Day Babylon and Evolution.
