Born of Osiris, the Chicago-based band who release their fifth full-length album, Soul Sphere (Sumerian Records), on Friday, are streaming the twelve-song release now in its entirety via YouTube.
“The whole story of the record involves three levels,” explains singer Joe Buras of the Soul Sphere story. “The first one is The Binding. You’re hanging, and you’re stagnant. The second is The Fight. You were hanging, but now you’re pulling away from this linchpin, whether it’s physical, emotional, or spiritual. The final is The Release. You break away and feel free, connected, and loved.”
Born of Osiris is currently on tour with Gwar, playing tomorrow night at Strummer’s in Fresno, wrapping up the North American outing on Nov. 28 in Orlando. All tour dates are listed below.
