Current “How To Get Away With Murder” star Viola Davis is in the running for the part of Military Liaison Amanda Waller in the current DC movie universe. Amanda Waller, for those that do not know is a DC version for Nick Fury, only more sinister and devious.

Rumor had Oprah Winfrey in the running for this part as Warner/DC get ready to begin to produce their series of super hero movies coming in the next two years. Odds are Mrs. Davis will debut er role in the up coming Suicide Squad, where she would have a major role in the movie as the military head of the program that gives “Super Villains” a second chance on the outside. She would be starring opposite Will Smith (Deadshot), Margo Robie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (Joker) and Tom Hardy (Rick Flag) Suicide Squad is scheduled for release in 2016.
