The Big Kahuna Hard Music, News
Fresh off the release of his third solo album The Ceaseless Sight, Rich Robinson (best known as the founder/guitarist/songwriter of The Black Crowes) will release a live in the studio recording, entitled Woodstock Sessions, Vol. 3 this Tuesday, November 18th.  The album was recorded in Woodstock, NY at Applehead Studios in May 2014, the same studio where Robinson self-produced The Ceaseless Sight.  It was taped in front of a live audience of guests who were lucky enough to get one of the 200 tickets available for the 2-night event; they were treated to hours of acoustic and electric performance sets, and tons of great stories about Rich’s experiences in the studio and on the road.

The Woodstock Sessions is a concert series/attended recording session held at Applehead Studios in Woodstock, NY.  It aims to give artists and fans a chance to connect in the intimacy and intensity of a live recording session; 75-100 tickets are available for each session.  Volume One featured funk/jazz artist Alan Evans Trio (Soulive), and Volume Two featured guitar great Nels Cline (Wilco) along with American avant-jazz-funk band Medeski, Martin & Wood.
