The rumors have been confirmed. Actor Paul Bettany, known as the voice of Jarvis in the Iron Man and Avenger movies has been cast as The Vision. For those not in the know, The Vision is an android synthezoid created by the evil Ultron to infiltrate and destroy The Avengers. The Vision defies his master and turns on him, eventually joining The Avengers and becoming one of it’s most iconic members. The Vision eventually marries The Scarlet Witch, played by Elisabeth Olson in the up coming Avengers sequel. Many doubt this will be happening anytime soon in the films, as Joss Whedon has been straying away from any of the comic book cannon and creating his own movie version of The Avengers. Ergo casting the voice of JARVIS to play The Vision.
