Tom Taylor, the writer of the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us has been recruited to write Earth 2. DC comics leaked the news to MTV Geek last week that James Robinson has stepped down as lead writer for the highly successful series and that Taylor would in fact be replacing him.
This should be an interesting turn of events. After playing Injustice I was left very happy with the attention to detail and story line of the individual characters. Robinson is already writing an original graphic novel for Marvel’s new line, with Mark Waid and Gabrielle Dell’Otto, Spider-Man: Family Business. I’m pretty confident that he didn’t leave the project on bad terms. Nicola Scott is still illustrating the line, which is fantastic news. More information to come.
