The wonders of the Marvel/ABC/Disney mix are well underway with their plans for new animated films and what have you. The newest installment of their grand master medium clash franchise plan was released the other day. A graphic novel base on the show Once Upon A Time is set to air on September 4th, and loos pretty dark.
The art is done by Nimit Malavia, Vasilis Lolos, Mike Del Mundo, Mike Henderson and Michael Kaluta. It has been produced and plotted by series writer & producer Daniel T. Thomsen, co-written by Corinna Bechko (Planet of The Apes). In this story the Evil Queen takes the Huntsman’s heart and makes him her slave. This is a new rendition of the story that hasn’t been told before with a Stockholm Syndrome flare that devils into what happens to a good man when his hand is forced towards evil. The Evil Queen has concocted a plan to capture Snow White, yet again where she brews a potion and send werewolves out. The Huntsman is faced with some shocking pieces of his past as he teams up with Red Riding Hood who has finally grown a set of confidence of her own. These two team up to save Snow White from the Evil Queen’s plan. Here’s a few clips and teasers for you.
