A new picture from Spiderman 2 was released today. The filming has been going on around the greater NYC area and has stirred up quite a crowd. However, a new picture released shows a character that most of us had parted ways with. This reboot has stars Andrew Garfield playing the beloved Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and a few other well known names. Warning, clicking below might spoil a lot for the second movie.
This photo shows Dennis Leary, who splays Captain Stacy, with a bloodied police uniform. If you watched the first film D Leary was stabbed by the Lizard and evidently killed. Clearly these photos show otherwise. Fan speculation suggests the return of Captain Stacy is part of a hallucination or dream Peter Parker or Gwen Stacy might have. This little did bit of information kind of throws a wrench in the entirety of typical Spidey comic lines. If on recalls it takes Captain Stacy’s death to occur before Gwen herself is killed.
