Following the story of Tim Lambesis’ hit for hire and trial preceding has been the highlight of this month. Lambesis was arrested on May 7th and has been held in court until today. He was released on bail today for $2 million. The bail was originally set at $3 million, however the courts were convinced to lower it.
Lambesis and his wife Meggan ended their relationship last summer when Tim sent an email to her stating that he no longer loved her and no longer believed in God. I comical irony due to the fact that his band As I Lay Dying started out as a christian band. This was all in hindsight of Lambesis making regular trips to see a girlfriend in Florida amongst multiple other affairs. Conditions of his bail require Lambesis to stay away from Meggan and their three adopted children. He must also surrender his passport and wear a GPS monitor. Lambesis is claiming that his actions were a direct reflect of steroid use in correlation to his body building addiction.
As I Lay Dying was announced to start a tour with Killswitch Engage yesterday however the tour was cancelled due to the arrest.
