Now that the dust is settling on the blockbuster that is The Avengers movie, and everyone at Marvel and Disney are finished patting themselves on the back, the question now becomes…what new Avengers should be introduced in the sequel. With the vast history of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, countless heroes have had the privilege of being an Avenger. Mutants, Androids, Demi Gods, Sorcerers and Aliens are just the few who have graced the halls of Avenger Mansion. Here is a list of who we think might work…

1) Ant Man – With the news breaking that an Ant Man movie is on the way, Henry Pym would be a great addition to the roster of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Having him match wits with Bruce Banner and Tony Stark would be awesome. Not to mention he was one of two founding members of the team that was not in the film. That takes us to…

2) Wasp – Janet Van Dyne, wife of Henry Pym. The sequel to the Avengers could use some more girl power. Not to mention the film could always use another millionaire/billionaire philanthropist part of the team throwing some of her weight around and giving Tony Stark a run for his money.

3) Vision – Rumor has it that Agent Coulson really didn’t die in the first film. He lives and actually has his brain waves transferred to the synthetic being known as The Vision. Now that would be a stretch in the actual origin of the character, but I’m sure Marvel die hards wouldn’t mind if it meant the return of their favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

4) Black Panther – Is the world ready for King T’Challa to be part of The Avengers? A little royalty and the inventor of the teams Quinjets wouldn’t hurt. Not to mention Black Panther is African American, and that would be a great addition to a sequel.

5) Ms. Marvel – Again, this one would be easy, Agent Carol Danvers…S.H.I.E.L.D., military, super hot…nuff said!
