Next up…Cell phone wallpaper apps! That’s right, now you to can have an Avenger grace your cell phone while you text to your freinds how spectacular the new Avengers film will be. Marvel has teamed up with Cellfish to bring everyone there own favorite Avenger on their phone. Read the official press release below…
Marvel Entertainment, LLC, one of the world’s most prominent character-based entertainment companies, has teamed up with Cellfish, a leading mobile and social application developer, to launch an Android personalization app based on the upcoming film based on Marvel’s Avengers characters. “Marvel’s The Avengers” Live Wallpaper, is now live in the Android store timed in anticipation of next week’s theatrical release of “Marvel’s The Avengers”. Just as “Marvel’s The Avengers” on the big screen brings together many of Marvel’s film and comic heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Hulk, so too does the Cellfish app bring these favorites directly to fans’ Android phones.
“Marvel has created some of the most well-known and beloved characters of all time, so we are very excited to work with them to bring their heroes to life in this Android personalization product,” said Julien Mitelberg, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Cellfish. “We have a proven ability to bring high-quality mobile apps to market. The freemium version of “Marvel’s The Avengers” Live Wallpaper app features the Super Hero team’s iconic logo displayed against an animated backdrop with lighting, smoke effects, and sky movement, with fun options like a “screen crack” message and call alert. Premium versions allow users to add all of the Avengers characters to the scene, as well as unlock individual character wallpapers and ringtones of audio clips from the film.
