Right after I recently said that Van Halen should hang it up, Mr. Eddie Van Halen shows me up and does something so generous. The Guitar legend has donated 75 of his own personal guitars to The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation. The Foundation distributed musical instruments through out school in need. Per Mr. Van Halens instructions, the guitars are to be distributed to several schools in the Los Angeles area. The schools were not told where the guitars came from until they were received by each institution. Van Halen has also stated the guitars are not to be used and not sold. Well, lets hope these bad boys don’t wind up on Ebay in the next couple of weeks.
