Long Beach Comic Con, October 29 and 30 will be the only scheduled Southern California convention appearances by Aspen Comics, BOOM! Studios, IDW and Top Cow for the rest of the year.
“We love LBCC! BOOM! was there for the first show and we’ll be there for each and every show. The crew at LBCC know how to put on a great regional convention and we look forward to watching the convention grow for many years to come,” said Chip Mosher of BOOM! Studios.
“We’re excited to be returning to Long Beach Comic-Con for the third year in a row,” said IDW chief operating officer, Greg Goldstein. “As an important part of comics and pop culture, Southern California can clearly sustain several quality conventions, and we’re happy to support the LBCC team.”
“In addition to Artist, Illustrators and Writers, Exhibitors are what make a comic convention special for fans,” said Phil Lawrence, Director of the Long Beach Comic Con. He added, “We are proud to say that many of these companies choose LBCC this fall and are honored to have them as the center pieces of our show floor.”
