Sixx:A.M. have scored their first #1 hit at Active Rock with “Lies of the Beautiful People,” the first single from their second album, This Is Gonna Hurt.  “Lies” has reached #1 after holding strong at the #2 spot for 6 weeks, according to Mediabase.  The track is also steadily positioned at #3 at Mainstream Rock and is poised to keep climbing.

Originally self-released on CD by the band in 2008 (limited to 666 copies), Mitochondrion’s Archaeaeon will see an official release in late August by Dark Descent Records. Archaeaeon has been remastered by Colin Martson and will be released with an eight-page layout printed on heavy matte card stock.
