French black metallers GLORIOR BELLI have revealed the cover art and track listing for their new album The Great Southern Darkness to be released in North America on September 27, 2011. Long Island hardcore metal quartet, This Is Hell, has entered Killingsworth Studio in Valley Village, CA with producer, Tomas Costanza, to begin recording the band’s fourth studio album and follow up to 2010’s, Weight of the World. The yet-to-be-titled full-length will see an early October release on Rise Records.

Abyss Records’ resident maniacs  MAAX will invade Urbana, Illinois this weekend for an appearance at this year’s Central Illinois Metalfest. Dubbed “The Sickest Fest In The Midwest”, CIM 2011 features some of the biggest and best names in extreme metal over three days (July 22nd – 24th). MAAX takes the stage on Saturday, July 23rd.  

Philadelphia, PA based REIGN SUPREME has signed with Mediaskare Records and will release their upcoming EP ‘Sky Burial’ later this year through the label. “All the bands I know on Mediaskare love being on the label. That was pretty much enough for me,” commented vocalist Jay Pepito on why the band chose Mediaskare. Adding, “We just want to work with a label that will bend over backwards to help us achieve our goals as a band, we feel like Mediaskare is that label.”
