» Blog Archive WITCHFINDER: LOST AND GONE FOREVER -

Edward Grey delivers a sizable amount of havoc in the final chapter of Witchfinder: Lost and Gone Forever. Battling through seemingly endless hordes of the living dead–gun wielding living dead– Grey is cornered and stuck between the vicious zombies and a dark cave with mysterious energy.

The action factor in this conclusion to the 5 part series is definitely off of the charts. There is a constant shootout that leaves the reader nearly drooling on the pages gazing across the panels and following the fight. The zombie-cowboys, as they appear to be, are ravenous and quite deadly with accuracy. From the very opening of the comic, there is a conflict that rises with the gun wound festering in Grey’s comrade’s shoulder. And it doesn’t stop there, the suspense and horror grows with the entrance into the cave mentioned earlier.

The climax of the comic comes at a striking surprise and the constant horror of the comic itself works well as a combination. Edward Grey’s adventure truly grows on the reader and there is an attachment through every bullet fired. Witchfinder: Lost and Gone Forever concludes magnanimously, ending a very sensational series with a very sensational issue.
