MIASMAL: Full-Length Debut Now Available For Pre-order

Underground death metal cartel Dark Descent Records has made the highly-anticipated full-length debut from Swedish old-schoolers MIASMAL available for pre-order. The album will be released on CD by Dark Descent Records and given the vinyl treatment by Detest Records and Me Saco Un Ojo. The CD version will contain eight brand new tracks as well as six bonus tunes taken from the band’s sold-out demo recording and 7″ EP. The first 100 orders made through the Dark Descent Records Webstore will receive a free woven MIASMAL logo patch. A preview of the track “Toxic Breed” has been made available at this location. The official release date has been set for April 15th, 2011.

Emerging from Sweden’s underground in 2007, Miasmal instantly rose to the

top of the crowded scene. Combining old school death metal with punkish

riffs and a heap of d-beat, Miasmal released their demo in 2008 on Detest

Records. This demo was an instant classic which led Miasmal to once again

hit the studio to record a 7″ EP in 2010. Shortly after its release, the 7″

sold out which led Miasmal to take their show on the road, playing such

fests such as NWN! Fest and Kill Town Death Fest.

2011 promises to be the biggest year yet for Miasmal as they will tour the

U.S. to support the new album playing stops such as Maryland Death Fest and

Chaos in Tejas this summer. Tour dates are as follows:
