As promised, we have returned with yet another announcement related to the upcoming relaunch of the legendary Dark Horse Presents!

Frank Miller’s new comic series, Xerxes, will storyboard the events leading up to the epic struggle at Thermopylae, the setting of Frank Miller and Lynn Varley’s beautifully landscaped graphic novel turned film, 300.

Xerxes rose to power in Persia in the fifth century BC and became known as “The King of Kings,” eventually raising and leading a massive army intent on ruthlessly destroying the hated Greeks who killed his father. Xerxes seeks nothing less than to become a god himself—and achieves his wish!

Fans will get an early look at this highly anticipated new series in the pages of the soon-to-be-relaunched Dark Horse Presents, arriving in spring 2011!
