Following up on the announcement made in July at Comic-Con International, Dark Horse and TNT are set to launch the all-new biweekly webcomic series Falling Skies this coming Monday! Not only will this give fans something to tide them over until the highly anticipated TV series debuts in summer 2011, but it also will follow the exclusive twelve-page comic book distributed at New York Comic Con last month!

Written by Battlestar Galactica writer, and longtime Dark Horse cohort, Mark Verheiden (Aliens vs. Predator, My Name Is Bruce),the webcomics detail the events that take place before the TV series’ premiere episode on TNT. A harrowing alien invasion places Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and his three sons, Hal (Drew Roy), Ben (Connor Jessup), and Matt (Maxim Knight), in a struggle to survive as they fight back against the aliens. After the attack, the aliens kidnap Ben. Determined to find his missing son, Tom joins the Second Massachusetts, a group of soldiers and civilians struggling against the occupying alien force. However, supplies are running low, and Tom must locate an old friend to equip his team and ensure the human race will persevere!

Making its television debut next summer, the Steven Spielberg-produced series stars Noah Wyle; Moon Bloodgood as Anne Glass, a pediatrician who works with surviving children to help them cope with the traumatic upheaval in their lives; and Will Patton as a fierce leader of the resistance, Weaver.

The Falling Skies webcomic premieres this Monday November 8 right here on darkhorse.com, and also on tnt.tv! Get your fix every two weeks when new installments are released.
