Trapt announce The Sound Off Tour

New York, NY — TRAPT, the multi-platinum rock band whose recent release (No Apologies via Eleven Seven Music) debuted as the #1 Rock and #5 Alternative album according to Soundscan, and #1 Rock and #8 overall album on iTunes have announced plans for their Sound Off Tour. The US trek supported by Since October and Abused Romance begins November 23^rd at The Hawthorne Theatre in Portland, OR and continues through December (please see below for listing of tour dates). Tickets as well as VIP packages for the Sound Off Tour go on-sale this weekend.

On October 12^th, the band released their fourth studio album NO APOLOGIES, on Eleven Seven Music. The album sees the band drawing on their aggressive rock roots. Kick Axe Music proclaims, “With NO APOLOGIES, the band is back with a sound and image that has been re-energized.” Their first single, the anthem, “Sound Off,” is currently climbing the rock charts and has led to a partnership with Rock the Vote for a PSA campaign. AOL “Noisecreep” describes the track as “one of the heaviest songs to come from TRAPT in some time.”

The band’s third album, Only Through The Pain (released in August of 2008) debuted at #2 on the Top Independent Album chart and #18 on the Billboard 200 chart and produced two Top 20 Mainstream Rock tracks (“Who’s Going Home With You Tonight?” and “Contagious”).
