The Big Kahuna Hard Music, News

From the group that got everyone “Addicted” Saving Abel have returned with another sexually charged hit with “Sex Is Good.”  The song is currently sitting at #10 on the Rock charts and is continuing to fly up the charts.

The irony that the song, which is now a Top 10 hit at rock radio has become the band’s second stab at blunt sexual honestly isn’t lost on lead singer Jared Weeks.

“Every night playing live I always ask the crowd if they would be surprised if Saving Abel had wrote another song about sex, cause we all know that ‘addicted’ isn’t really a song for Sunday school.  And the reaction is always a good one. ‘Sex Is Good’ is kinda of a story of a bad boy gone even worse! But the important message in the song is about the honesty. Seriously, think about how many times in our lives that we have all been those relationships where the bed room is the only ounce of excitement some of us have, thus out comes the truth! We have all said it at one point another….. That’s right, I’m not in Love but the SEX is good.”

Saving Abel’s latest album, MISS AMERICA, the quintet’s follow up to their gold-certified self-titled debut entered the Billboard album chart at #24 the week of it’s release this past summer.  The lead single “Stupid Girl (Only In Hollywood)” became the band’s fourth hit at rock radio and the group performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC) on August 2nd.

The quintet continues their current world tour which has, over the past several months, touched down in India, Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq (via a USO / Armed Forces Entertainment tour of the Persian Gulf), extensively across the U.S., and in the middle of the Pacific Ocean aboard the USS Carl Vinson as the vessel returned from Haiti.  Saving Abel, will hit the road as direct support for Hinder beginning November 29th in Dallas, TX.
