The End Records announces the launch of a new editorial website featuring staff-written reviews of demos sent to the label. The site, underground.theendrecords.com launches today with album reviews, links, photos, and song previews of seven bands, and will be updated weekly with new reviews.

The End Records receives hundreds of demos sent from all ends of the globe. From black and death metal, to grind, to math rock, to electronica recorded in some kid’s basement and even a few rappers thrown in the mix, the label’s mail bins are constantly overflowing with unsolicited demos sent by bands who dream of becoming the next part of the label’s musical family.

Inspired by the quality of some of these demos, intern Graham “Gruhamed” Hartmann decided to tackle the idea of a demo review page, which was originally pitched by A&R Rep Billy French, and the site now features additional reviews written by staffer Scott Brand.

So check out the page and who knows…you may just find your new musical obsession. Here they are, the unknown heroes of the underground, some of which may not be unknown for long.
