White Knight Chronicles:

This just has to be said, I LOVE THIS GAME, I have been a rpg player for going on 20+ years now, I have never understood the fascination behind the pointing a gun and blasting stuff away, the mind-numbing repetition of most first person shooters just bores the hell out of me. 

For me a game has to be visual, have a good story, and allow you to jump into the game as one of the characters, and yes.. My name is mike.. and I am addicted to World of Warcraft.

This is why I chose White Knight Chronicles when I saw it on the shelf, it reminded me of the Final Fantasy games I played on my PS1 and PS2.  The amazing graphics and description on the back of the game case had me sold on first sight.

As I am playing the game, I am amazed at the ease of the game play, the graphics are better than on the game case, and the cut scenes… WOW.  The detail and depth of the scenes are amazing.

I was able to beat God of War 3 in two days, Uncharted 2 in 3, this game took me two weeks to beat, and once beaten you can start over again and try to gain the items to build your village.  The village allows you a resource to gain materials to make and upgrade weapons.

There is also the possibility of a huge amount of downloadable content, probably in the form of online playable maps.

All in all I think this is a great game, and if you look on YouTube you can find the trailer for White Knight Chronicles 2, which is being released in Japan sometime this year. 

In my opinion if you have only enough money on you to buy one game and you can’t decide on Final Fantasy 13 or White Knight Chronicles.  I’d pick White Knight over ff13 ANYDAY, I’ll tell you all why in my next review – Final Fantasy 13, what a disappointment.

So run out and grab White Knight, I don’t think you will be disappointed at all.
