So, it seems that reports coming out of Hollywood say that actor Stuart Townsend (Queen Of The Damned, Night Stalker) has left the production of Thor over “creative differences”, slated to begin filming Monday the 11th. Townsend has been replaced by newcomer Joshua Dallas.Thor is slated to open May 2011 and is one of Marvel Studios major movies currently in production. Townsend was one of an all star cast which includes, Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins, and Natalie Portman. The movie’s director is Kenneth Branagh.

Townsend has had a history of “creative differences” before, he was once set to star as King Aragorn in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, but was replaced last minute with Viggo Mortenson.
