Reprise Records and Serj Tankian have teamed up with theatrical distributor Cinema Purgatorio to present a series of nationwide screenings of Tankian’s Elect the Dead Symphony — a very special orchestral interpretation of Tankian’s critically acclaimed solo debut Elect the Dead. The dynamic one-off performance was recorded and filmed in HD by six cameras at the majestic Auckland Town Hall in New Zealand with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.  

Acclaimed director/designer Shinji Aramaki takes anime to an altogether new level with an all-CG episode featuring Master Chief entitled “The Package,” one of the seven stories within the highly-anticipated Halo Legends.

Giving a new twist to horror, the Afterparty Massacre, brings metal, blood and gore back to the screen! I know the announcement about Spider-Man being rebooted was made a week ago. And since then I’ve been mulling over how I really feel about it. First of all, I’m all for a change of direction in the Spider-Man franchise. Sam Raimi’s trilogy are some of my favorite movies that I have a personal connection too. Tobey Maguire was the perfect Peter Parker.  JK Simmons was even better as J. Jonah Jameson, and Kirsten Dunst was decent as Mary Jane. (She wasn’t great but she was tolerable) But lets face it, the cast is getting older and Raimi can only direct Spidey for so long before he gets bored so as the old saying goes, “it’s better to go out on a high note than wear out your welcome.”... 

When a wily pickpocket steals Ahsoka’s lightsaber during an otherwise routine mission, the desperate Togruta teen must enlist the help of an elderly Jedi Master to track down the slippery thief. The search takes the unlikely pair deep into the seedy underbelly of Coruscant’s seamy underworld…and pits the young Padawan against a new kind of threat, unlike anything she’s seen on the front lines.
