New Orleans instrumental riff conjurors, MOUNTAIN OF WIZARD – who feature within their ranks members of EyeHateGod, Classhole and Mystick Krewe Of Clearlight – will kick off the new year with a short run of live rituals supporting amplification kings, High On Fire. Set to commence in Birmingham, MOUNTAIN OF WIZARD will levy their smoky, bottom-heavy jams upon the ears of West Columbia, Richmond, Brooklyn, Hartford, Portland, Poughkeepsie and Providence with additional shows to be announced in the weeks to come.  

West Virginia instrumental stoner rock legends, KARMA TO BURN, will bring their bong-ripping riffery and glassy-eyed grooves to the stage on a mammoth live expedition. Scheduled to launch on January 7th, 2015 in Ohio, the band will crumble thirty-three stages across the US and Canada, coming to a close in their home state on February 13th, 2015.  

After a successful debut, the Kaotoxin Fest will return in 2015 for a second edition that will take place in Lille, France on December 5.  

Released early this Fall via Neurot Recordings, Clearing The Path To Ascend, the latest studio album from Portland’s favorite doom conjurors, YOB, has earned mass love and attention from fans and media outlets both stateside and abroad.

Following their mammothly successful tour through Europe alongside Saint Vitus, UK stoner metal icons, ORANGE GOBLIN, will bring their heavy grooves Stateside next month for a two-week bout of live takeovers supporting Down. Slated to embark December 1st in San Antonio, the trek will run through fifteen cities, coming to a close on December 21st in Houston. Additional support will come from Bl’ast and King Parrot.  

West Coast noise rock/psych doom exhibitionists in WIZARD RIFLE have taken their big guns to the streets today to kick off their November live incursion. Set to commence this evening in Phoenix, Arizona at Time Out Lounge, team WIZARD RIFLE will ransack nearly a dozen megalopolises, with the ceremonies coming to hot, deafening conclusion on November 26th in Brooklyn, New York at Saint Vitus Bar. WIZARD RIFLE will be touring in support of their Here In The Deadlights full-length, issued via Seventh Rule Recordings late last month. Tracked by guitarist Max Dameron at Breakfast Studio in Los Angeles, then toiled over for a year, with Billy Anderson (Sleep, Eyehategod, Melvins et al) and Jesse Johnstone sharing mixing...

Today, California’s favorite death-laden horror hellions, EXHUMED, will take their sonic debauchery to the streets for a Fall run of US live invasions with extreme metal technicians Carcass and manic death thrashers Noisem. Set to commence in San Diego tonight at Brick By Brick, the Inked In Steel Tour 2014 will conquer nearly two dozen municipalities with additional audio infiltrations from death metal legends Obituary and Macabre on select dates. Austin-based hardcore/death crossover outfit MAMMOTH GRINDER has confirmed a three-week tour late this fall, joining Santa Cruz progressive death metal outfit Inanimate Existence as support for Richmond’s bongblasters Cannabis Corpse. The tour will begin in the Southeast, with the first show in Wilmington, North Carolina on November 28th, and whip counter-clockwise through the country across the Gulf Coast, up through California then eastward through the Midwest and back down the East Coast, coming to a halt in Richmond on December 20th.
