Death metal maniacs KRISIUN just entered Mana Recording Studios in Florida, USA to start the recording of their new album, set to be released in the late summer/early autumn of 2015.   The producer of the new album is nobody less than Erik Rutan, the brain and heart of death metal masters HATE ETERNAL and former guitarist of MORBID ANGEL. Rutan has worked as a producer for his own band as well as for CANNIBAL CORPSE, NILE, SIX FEET UNDER, MALEVOLENT CREATION, MADBALL, AGNOSTIC FRONT, to name just a few– additionally, he also co-produced KRISIUN’s Conquerors of Armageddon album back in 1999!   Rutan comments: “Working with KRISIUN at Mana Recording is such an honor for me. Death Valley High, the Bay Area band Consequence of Sound described as “hook-happy goth rock,” are currently wrapping up work on a five-song EP titled Duel with guest vocals from Deftones’ Chino Moreno, RevCo’s Chris Connelly, and Death Angel’s Mark Osegueda. The EP arrives in May with a release date to be announced shortly.

Melodic Blackened Metallers WITHERING SOUL will release Adverse Portrait June 9 on Mortal Music, the followup to 2011’s No Closure.

Following the release of their brand new End 12″EP, out now via Get This Right Records and Beatdown Hardwear, Southeastern Pennsylvania’s CDC has confirmed the routing for their upcoming Spring US tour in support of the record. The tour runs from April 2nd through 13th, including shows down the East Coast and out to Puerto Rico for one gig before touring homeward.

And we are back with another new album coming down the pike, this time a phenomenal heavy rock/metal album from a relatively unknown (to me, at least) band, Entropy O.A.C., with their newest offering, Dark Clouds and Clarity.
