NYC/New Jersey metal collective TOMBS and Atlanta blackened heavy metal outfit CLOAK will be embarking on a run of co-headlining live shows throughout the East Coast this spring, in which they will be supported by RESTLESS SPIRIT! The trek will kick off on April 5 in Providence, RI and will conclude in CLOAK’s hometown of Atlanta, GA on April 10. TOMBS will then return to Brooklyn, NY for a homecoming show on April 16 along with EVOKEN and RESTLESS SPIRIT. The full run of dates and ticket links can be found below!

Marking its 40th anniversary this year, METAL BLADE RECORDS is proud to present its debut release, Metal Massacre Volume One, for the first time since 1984 on limited-edition vinyl. Originally released on June 14, 1982, Metal Massacre showcased the best of Los Angeles’ unsigned acts of the time such as METALLICA, RATT and MALICE, and has since become a cornerstone of METAL BLADE RECORDS. California metal band, SPITE, have announced the One Step Closer To Becoming God US Headline Tour today. Support comes from Boundaries, Vatican, No Zodiac (5/20 – 6/5 only) and Bodybox.  

Celebrating Ghost Rider’s 50th anniversary, Johnny Blaze, the original Ghost Rider, returns tomorrow in an all-new ongoing series written by Benjamin Percy with art by Cory Smith. Known for his thrilling work on titles such as WOLVERINE and X-FORCE, Percy will put his own devilish spin on the Ghost Rider mythos, evoking all the frightening elements of Ghost Rider’s most classic stories while driving the Spirit of Vengeance towards a new age. TOOL, who are currently on tour in support of their GRAMMY Award® winning album Fear Inoculum, take it back to their beginning, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their first commercially-available release, Opiate, with a re-imagined and extended version of the EP’s title track and an accompanying short film. “Opiate2” is available via DSPs on March 1, with the Blu-ray only visual companion available on March 18.  

Little Caesar are best remembered for their version of the soul music song “Chain of Fools, a 1989 hit single from their self-titled debut album on DGC Records, a subsidiary of Geffen Records. John Kalodner did A&R work for the group, and Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue, etc.) produced their debut self-titled album, which was released to positive reviews. On the strength of the singles “Chain of Fools” (a cover of the Aretha Franklin song) and “In Your Arms”, Little Caesar hit number 139 on the US Billboard 200 in 1990.
