The legends of shock rock GWAR return to wreak havoc with their new Graphic Novel and Album, ‘The Return of Gor Gor,’ due on July 25th, 2025, via Z2 Comics/Pit Records just in time for the 2025 San Diego Comic Con. This multi-format assault on the senses includes an exclusive 32-page comic detailing the epic return of Gor Gor, GWAR’s long-lost, three-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex, along with brand-new studio recordings and ferocious live performances.  

Nameless Grave Records presents Chasing The Dragon, the second full-length from US traditional/power metal outfit HELMS DEEP, confirming the album for release June 20th.  

The vision behind our ‘The Beautiful People’ cover stems from a unique personal connection. Marilyn Manson’s groundbreaking original, released almost three decades ago, immediately struck me. Relapse Records welcomes the blistering grindcore force CHEPANG with their label debut, Jhyappa. Hailing from Queens, New York, by way of Kathmandu, Nepal, CHEPANG has never been your by-the-numbers band. They dub their music “immigrindcore”: They use samples from Nepali pop songs.  

Following two festival performances – Bangers Open Air in São Paulo, Brazil and Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio respectively – heavy metal icons ARMORED SAINT will enter the studio next month to begin recording their long-awaited ninth studio album, tentatively slated for a Spring 2026 release through Metal Blade Records.  

This fall, shock rock legend Alice Cooper and heavy metal trailblazers Judas Priest will share the stage for an epic co-headlining tour across North America. Produced by Live Nation, the 22-city run kicks off September 16 at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, MS, and stops in Toronto, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping October 26 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX  

Today Skybound and Image Comics announced the all-new comic book series Ghost Pepper, from rising star creator/writer/artist/letterer Ludo Lullabi (TRANSFORMERS, Battle Chasers) and colorist Adriano Lucas (Destro). The debut issue of the exclusive new action series about forgotten heroes, cutthroat food trucks, and saving the world…again, will arrive in comic book shops on July 16, 2025.

The Revenge Of The Underground Tour 2025 begins January 7th in Nashville, Tennessee and runs through February 22nd in Houston, Texas. Support will be provided by Psycroptic and Embryonic Autopsy. Additionally, the tour will include several SIX FEET UNDER one-off shows scattered throughout.

To celebrate this classic metal album, W.A.S.P. will, for the first time in 40 years, play the entire album from top to bottom, start to finish at headline shows across Europe.
