The release finds the Michigan rock heavyweights pushing their instantly distinctive sound to uncharted territories, expertly balancing the styles they’ve explored on recent tracks “Let The Chaos Reign,” “Work” and “Breathe Again,” of which the latter two have blasted on to the Top 10 Rock charts joining previous #1 hits “Waking Lions,” “Footsteps,” “Deal with the Devil,” “Trenches” and “Torn to Pieces,” which was certified GOLD by the RIAA in 2020.
Paolo Baron and Ernesto Carbonetti re-team for an all new original graphic novel—Jim Lives: The Mystery of the Lead Singer of The Doors and the 27 Club—a speculative fiction thriller that riffs off the conspiracy theory that Jim Morrison never died. This is the second standalone graphic novel in the trilogy, following last year’s release Paul Is Dead, and will be out from Image Comics in June 2021.

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and Sons of Apollo vocalist Jeff Scott Soto have been collaborating on some new material recently under the moniker ELLEFSON-SOTO. The Ellefson-Soto version of the Riot classic “Swords & Tequila” released via Ellefson’s Combat Records on www.ellefsonmusic.bandcamp.com and across all digital streaming outlets.The song was originally featured on the 1981 Riot LP Fire Down Under (Elektra).
