As part of the ongoing celebration of their 20th anniversary, Sweden’s Opeth is releasing live footage and audio from the band’s recent performance at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall. In Live Concert at the Royal Albert Hall, due out September 21st, is a fierce testament to Opeth’s continued success in the progressive metal community.

As some of you may have seen around the web today, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY debuted the cover to their upcoming Comic-Con issue, and on said cover is none other than Ryan Reynolds, star of the June 2011 Warner Bros. GREEN LANTERN film, in costume. Reynolds stars as Hal Jordan, the cocky test pilot gifted with an immensely powerful Green Lantern ring powered by will. Needless to say, it looks amazing. It’s exciting to see the costume for the first time.

One of the most beloved characters to come out of the Milestone/DC partnership and a presence in TEEN TITANS (not to mention a star of his own cartoon series), Static will be starring in his own ongoing series, launching in 2011 and written by Felicia Henderson. We’ll have more details on the series – including the art team – in the coming months, so stay tuned to this very blog.
